Adults Story Typing

I have never tried internet dating but last night a friend of mineadmittedthat his current girlfriend and him met on an internet dating site and that they are very happy together. We were at our companies annual Christmas dinner and as usual I was alone while almost everyone there had a date. When I saw him with her and saw how gorgeous she was and saw how well they get along and how happy he truly seemed it really made me rethink my stance on internet dating, it made me think that maybe it's time to give it a try. After all it seems that the world has changed quite a bit and internet dating sites no longer have the bad reputations they used to have when they first came out. I remember hearing horror stories about people that joined and how when they met their matches in person it was a huge disaster, everyone was posting old pictures and lying aboutwhothey were and what they did for a living.

I have been single for 6 months now and though I work so many hours and I am usually so busy it would still be very nice to have a girl to spend the little bit of free time I have with. I love to go and listen to music at the corner bar and it would be a treat to be able to go with someoneinsteadof always arriving alone. It would also be nice to have a partner to go the the new dance clubs that have opened up downtown, a few guys at work have invited me several time but I always say no because I dreaded the thought of being the only one with out a date. So if I could meet a nice girl it would make life a bit more fun, and a lot more exciting that it is now.

When I get home this evening I am going to make a point of looking up some sites and joining at least one of them. I'll take things slowly after all finding your soul mate is not something to do in a rush. I might just hang out there once in a while and see who sings up, I know that I don't want to go on bad dates so I will make sure I know someone before meeting them in person and you never know, maybe the girl thats perfect for me will show up one day.
