Lauren was always unsure of dating services. She had a funny idea that the people who used dating services would be the people who could not get a date in the real world, and so resorted to this.She did not want to be one of those people but times were tough. It had been a while since she had last been on a date and even then it was a disaster.

She took a deep breath before searching online for dating services. There were thousands of results but she wasn't surprised. She chose a well known one and registered her details. It was not long until she found she had an email from another member who suggested that they met up. She had always been wary of dating services and this was why. He replied straight away, saying he was more than happy with that and that he didn't want to scare her away. It seemed brilliant. They emailed continuously for the next few days, both racing to the nearest computer to see what the other had said before quickly replying. They learnt so much about each other and shared so much private information. That is whenLauren decided to meet up with Lewis on their first date. They arranged to meet in a public place, just in case. This also meant that if they arrived and did not like what they saw they could leave, at least this was Lauren's mentality.

The day arrived when Lauren had arranged to meet Lewis. Lauren was so nervous and thought it felt weird because it was as if they already knew each other but had never met. Lauren had an afternoon meeting and was slightly worried in case it ran on, and she was late and so missed him. As a result, they exchanged numbers, just in case anything should happen. Luckily, they did as her meeting did run on, only by 15 minutes but she thought it wise to ring in case he thought she was not coming. His voice was so soft yet masculine, this made her want to meet him even more.

She raced across town, to meet in the park as they had arranged to do so, and saw one man all by himself and guessed it must be him. He was gorgeous and had obviously made the effort for her, dressed in a crisp white shirt with a pale blue jumper over the top, which really brought out the blue in his eyes.

It was only a few months later when Lewis' hand was caressing hers as they talked about their baby due in 6 months and their upcoming wedding. Lauren could not say a bad word against dating sites.
